WHAT IS A FIRST LOOK

FIRST LOOK::

While the first look has definitely been a rising trend, there’s still a fair share of couples that stick to tradition and save that special moment for the altar.

In either case, we support our couples and their choice to have a first look or not. Let's take a look at some reasons why couples are embracing this new trend!

WHAT IT IS::

In a first look, the couple sees each other for the first time on their wedding day. Usually before the ceremony. During this private moment, the couple exchanges gifts, reads their personal vows, and takes some formal pictures.

PRO: More photos and No Rushing!

Due to the tight timeline and waiting guests, you're more pressed for time without a first look. Take all the perfect shots you've envisioned hours before your ceremony. Taking all (or most) of your wedding photos before your first look will allow you to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests!

PRO: Do you get nervous?

On the day of the ceremony, there's a lot of buildup - you'll be speaking in front of a crowd, all eyes will be on you, and you want everything to go smoothly. Nervousness is totally normal! Your fiancé should help you feel more comfortable and reassure yourself that you're in this together.

PRO: Want to Exchange Gifts or Read personal Vows

Express your feelings to build anticipation. A wedding letter is a wonderful keepsake to keep in your wedding album!

THE FIRST TOUCH: Would you like a private moment to pray without seeing each other? It's totally normal to be undecided! I would like to suggest an alternative.

First touch.

The first touch can still be enjoyed by holding hands around a corner and taking a quiet moment to pray or spend a few quiet moments alone before all the craziness sets in without losing the surprise factor.

There is no right or wrong answer. It will always be special and memorable to see your fiancé for the first time.
